about

Life is filled with deep questions. Questions like: did Santa get his start as an erotic dancer? How much tequila is too much tequila? Are vegetables aphrodisiacs? Is Elvis God? With disarming frankness and corn-liquored charm, Hog Bucket tells vivid stories about the finer points of love and longing. The songs are a celebration of youth; tales of moonlit mistakes re-lived over and over again with friends until details blur, people become characters, and campfire stories grow into legends. Rooted in country, folk and the blues, Hog Bucket’s debut LP Old Mustard is a collage of American genres best enjoyed with beer, in sunshine, or on the road.
